Summary and Position Overview:

 Responsible for the administration and support of Thomson Reuters Markets global directory & access services, including Active Directory, Identity Management, and IP Services                                               

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

 • Management and support of Active Directory in a multi - Domain / Forest environment.

• Maintaining and supporting complex global IP services infrastructure which includes address management and name resolution services (IPAM, DNS, DHCP and WINS).

• Management and support of server infrastructure and software supporting SCCM, AV/Patching, File Sharing, RSA.

• Building, installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows 2003/2008 servers in a multi - Domain / Forest environment.

• Management and support of Internet security based on Microsoft ISA/TMG.

• Monitoring, troubleshooting and problem resolution of all services listed above.

• Interface with the other IT disciplines including the networking engineering, messaging, server, and desktop support teams to provide resolution of service issues.

Education: College degree required.      

Required Skills:               

•Qualifications Required (minimum 4 years IT experience )

• Expert knowledge of and experience with Active Directory in large corporate environment (5,000+ users ).

• Expert knowledge of and experience with IP Services (DNS, DHCP, Global DNS) in large corporate environment (5,000+ users).

• Expert knowledge of Windows Server technologies, including DFS. Hands on experience building and configuring Windows 2003/2008 servers.

• Expert understanding of TCP/IP principles and LAN technology and use of network capture utilities.

• Knowledge of ISA/TGM networking

• Knowledge of VPN technologies

• Knowledge of RSA Securid.

• Understanding of Identity Management systems (MIIS/FIM)

• Basic knowledge of scripting (vbscript, powershell, etc. )

• Excellent customer service and communication (oral / written) skills required.

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills and ability to think "out of the box" required.

• Must be able to work independently or with a team, under minimum supervision

Desired Skills:  

• Basic knowledge of Exchange 2007/2010.

• Knowledge of Sharepoint services.

• Knowledge of Linux OS .

• Basic knowledge of virtualization platforms a plus (VMware, Hyper V

• Knowledge of SQL

Any Certifications Required: Microsoft Certification(s) desired
