Summary:
The primary focal areas are production support activities, periodic solution enhancements and long-term projects. The ideal candidate must be a good team player and detailed oriented, resourceful, motivated and creative. He/she should be flexible, organized and able to handle competing priorities, demonstrate sound, logic based decision making, and possess strong problem solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. He/she must be proficient in Hyperion Financial Management, FDM, and Reporting and Analysis.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in troubleshooting application issues from both a business and technical aspect.
· Remain abreast of current application architecture, HFM releases/patches, functionality, and other components.
· Ensure that version control and software management practices are followed.
· Develop and maintain productive working relationships with business and IT support groups, and key systems users.
· Prepare regular status reports.

Requirements (required education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities):
· 5+ years of general IT experience.
· 3+ years of supporting Hyperion Financial Management, FDM, Reporting and Analysis in a Windows environment
· Experience preferably with version 11.x
· 3+ years experience with supporting applications development in a Windows and SQL Server.
· Knowledgeable on Smart View, Web Analysis and Reporting Studio tools.
· Computer literacy in a Windows desktop environment is required, including but not limited to current operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, flowcharting, and any other software development, documentation, or project management tools needed to perform assignments.
· Motivated, self-directed individual that works well with minimal supervision.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrate an ability to work effectively under pressure in critical situations.
· Be well organized, possessing excellent documentation skills.
· Be persuasive and influential to create acceptable agreements or solutions.
· Practical and creative problem solving skills that follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
· Available for 24x7 on-call pager support.
