Dear candidate: This is a Seed REQ, to collect resumes for potential future positions, not for current open positions.

Software Testing Engineers, analyze product requirements and define, design and implement automated test cases for ensuring product quality. Test cases are then executed, reporting results and found product defects.

Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be fully responsible for implementing and conducting software testing activities for different Applications, Platforms and Environments to meet company needs. You will be exposed to a variety of computer programming languages and applications, as well using a range of testing automation scripting languages, working in teams with other professionals, or alone. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Automating test cases for middleware applications.
-Development of Stubs/Drivers and simulators.
- Analyzing results, reporting test cases results and product defects, and eventually automate these tasks too.
- Handling feedback and error reports from internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead a small team of test automation engineers to achieve team’ss goals.
- Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading products’s documentation and accessing new applications.
- Responsible for problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project.

Qualifications & Experience

You should possess a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology degree (Licenciatura) or equivalent with more than five years of software development/QA experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Knowledge of at least three of the following programming technologies: .net (C#), Java, Javascript, C/C++, Qt, and experience in at least two of them.
- Experience developing or testing middleware (C/C++ or Java) software.
- Software development expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems, MeeGo/Android a plus.
- Knowledge on Design Patterns, IPC and Threads will be a plus
- Strong results orientation.
- Experience working under Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and/or ISO software quality regime would be an added advantage as well as experience working within agile environments.
