    In Nalco Argentina we are currently seeking for a Network Analyst to assist in the installation, testing, modification, and evaluation of all networks (VPN, LANs and WANs) and related client services.  The professional selected will monitor and analyze network performance and recommend adjustments to a wide variety of complex network management functions with overall accountability for performance and availability of networks.      

    Primary responsibilities:

    • DNS/DHCP administration.
    • Monitor network infrastructure performance in the areas of response, throughput and availability.
    • Identification, analysis, and solution of network technical issues.
    • Identification, analysis, and solution of infrastructure issues such as hardware outages, circuits, etc.
    • Assist users with first and second level network, VOIP, and VPN troubleshooting.
    • Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness; participate in IT initiatives to address service issues   .
    • Engage daily in inventory tracking; incident handling and escalation; performance statistics reporting.
    • Adherence and enforcement of Nalco's ITIL's policies and procedures such as Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management and Release Management Processes.
    • Work with IT suppliers such as service providers and equipment providers.

    Qualifications:

    • 2 to 5 years' experience solving technical problems related to infrastructure at level I and II.
    • Graduated in Computer science or similar college degrees such as Mathematics, System Analysis, Administration with emphasis in Systems Analysis, Computer Engineering, and related courses.
    • Strong experience in network services and IP services (IP=Internet Protocol), including TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, switching, routing, and VPNs (Virtual Private Network).
    • Experience in Microsoft environment and Cisco technology will be considered as an advantage.
    • Experience in ITIL framework including "Change Management", "Incident Management", and "Problem Management".
    • Experience in Cisco equipment and related software for VOIP is a must.
    • Languages: Spanish (preferably as native), English fluent to speak and write, Portuguese will be valued.
