    MicroStrategy, leader in BI, is looking to incorporate a Technical Support Engineer into there team in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

    Role and Responsibility:

    • Provide complex and challenging support of the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence product suite and its underlying technologies via phone, and email. The Technical Support Engineer will utilize various tools such as Microsoft Livemeeting,  VMWare and others to aide in this process. 
    • Work with customers at all levels of development to help them build and maintain their production reporting environment.
    • Find creative and sophisticated solutions to problems reported while using MicroStrategy’s product suite through analytical talent and strong troubleshooting abilities.
    • Work with a team of diverse engineers (both regionally, and globally) to provide unparalleled support to customers in a wide variety of industries.
    • Prioritize and communicate product defects and enhancements to development teams.
    • Contribute to research and growth of the MicroStrategy Knowledge Base by creating customer-facing documentation.
    • Enhance personal and professional growth by participating in Internal Training Programs, which offer a three-week technical orientation program as well as regular training for all team members.

      Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a technical field (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science)
    • Strong technical and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Candidate must be fluent in English
    • Fluency in spoken Portuguese is a plus
    • Customer service experience preferred
    • Database (SQL, RDBMS, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) knowledge is a plus
    • Internet Technology (Java, ASP.NET, HTML, XML, etc.) knowledge is a plus
    • SAP BW knowledge is a plus
    • Network technology knowledge is a plus
