  • Tareas

Our client, the Web Middleware Company, delivering enterprise software and services for the world’s most popular open source infrastructure products, is looking for talented developers in our development center to accelerate the delivery and improve the quality of their products, such as Mule ESB and Tcat Server (Apache Tomcat). You will be responsible for designing and implementing build and test infrastructure, creating and enforcing good software development practices, and evaluating product quality for new and existing product features. You will be part of an Engineering team that is working on problems in a number of areas, including web services, REST-based API design, Apache Tomcat diagnostics, lightweight SOA, cloud deployment tools, and developer tooling.
As a successful candidate you have a desire to ensure not only that the products work as designed, but that the design makes sense from a user's perspective and is not overly complex or difficult to use. You will own the final say on product quality and whether products are ready for public release.

    Responsibilities:

    •    Work side by side with other developers to build advanced automated frameworks to deliver and exercise our open source and commercial web middleware software and tools
    •    Develop innovative solutions for large scale automated testing strategies and quality assurance using open source tools like JUnit, Selenium, JMeter, Maven, and Sonar
    •    Dive deep into the source code and find the source of complex problems and test failures, then fix them
    •    Build knowledge and understanding of valid use cases for the products and incorporate these into tests
    •    Engage with user community and feed that experience back into how the products are tested
    •    Advocate Quality Assurance (QA) principles and the user's perspective among the team
    Requirements

    •    Get a thrill out of solving complex integration problems and enjoy exploring code to understand how the software works
    •    Strong programming skills and a track record of developing or testing high quality software
    •    Focused on test automation and can implement re-usable test components
    •    Ability to dive in and understand complex systems, including clustering, network protocols and messaging frameworks (JMS, Web Services, XMPP, etc)
    •    Ability to communicate in spoken English with a distributed development team (US, Europe, South America)
    The company Offers

    •    An environment where you will be challenged every week by teammates that will expect only the very best from you
    •    A real open source experience. We have a community around our products where you engage directly with users through online discussions, social media and meetups
    •    A great salary, stock options, and career advancement
Please send us your resume and salary expectations
