The Warranty Group is the world's largest single-source provider of extended service solutions, is having an excellent career opportunity available for a Senior Java Analyst Programmer. The selected candidate will be joining the Buenos Aires Offshore Development Center, which provides services to develop and maintain IT systems used in the US, Europe, Asia & Latin America.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Developing code for our web-based enterprise warranty contract and claims administration system.
• Providing steady state support for our offices in South America, Europe, Asia and the U.S.
• Accurately estimating design and development tasks.
• Coaching junior level developers. 

Personal Skills

• BS Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of programming experience with JAVA (Java certification is a plus).
• Worked in large complex projects.
• Great team player with interest in learning new technologies.
• Interested in a long term job.
• Work independent and proactively. 

Mandatory Skills

• J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, XML, some MVC, Spring, Hibernate)
• Ability to read and write in English.  Communicate orally in English.
• Experience in OO design using UML.
• Worked with patterns and frameworks.
• Worked with tools such as Eclipse, Ant/Maven, SVN and JUnit.
• Worked with Application Servers (JBoss preferred)
• Would be a plus having worked with agile methologies like SCRUM or XP, and in a multicultural environment. Experience with webservices.
