The Warranty Group, the world's largest single-source provider of extended service solutions, is having an excellent career opportunity available for a Senior Web Administrator. The selected candidate will be joining the Buenos Aires Offshore Development Center, which provides services to develop and maintain IT systems used globally.

Primary responsibilities include:

§  Manage all aspects of web site technical administration.

§  Evaluate, install, and test hardware and software.

§  Providing steady state support for our offices in the US, Europe, Asia and South America.

§  Accurately estimating project tasks.

§  Being a flexible team player that’s interested in learning new technologies.

Requirements

§  BS Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

§  Worked in large complex projects.

§  Great team player with interest in learning new technologies.

§  Interested in a long term job.

§  Intermediate-to-Advanced English language skills.

Mandatory Skills

§  At least 3 years of application server administration (Jboss or similar).

§  At least 3 years of Apache http server / Apache Tomcat Server.

§  Need to know and administer Subversion and Git repositories.

§  Linux administration

§  Understand TCP/IP to be able to troubleshoot performance issues.

§  Need to have experience in bash/python or dos/windows scripting.

§  Basic knowledge of databases (db2/400, db2 9.5, mssql, mysql)

§  Desirable skills: JAVA, IIS, Maven 2, AS/400 (basic), LDAP and directory server, Jira or similar, Wiki system, Code Review Tools, remot deployments,
