Purpose of the Job:

  • Provide day-to-day support of our insurance clients for their Data & Analytics reporting function needs. The support analyst will need to take ownership of the prioritisation of tasks, data quality, and management of their time against each task.
  • This is a critical support function for our clients (which is currently focussed on clients within the wider Charles Taylor group of companies), with the aim to provide the data and insight required to support excellent performance management and fact-based decision-making.
  • The current focus of the team is on delivering reports relating to The Standard Club, which is MSUKI's biggest client, however overtime this will include other organisations. The aspiration is that the team, in time, will shift its focus from building reports to analysing data and developing insights. 


Team's responsibilities include:

  • Development & maintenance of data reports and metrics
  • Ownership of all related systems and code bases
  • Coordination of technical and user level application testing
  • Gathering and documenting requirements from data requesters

Key Responsabilities:

Reporting and database management:

  • Be familiar with the insurance sector and how the reporting function works to deliver value for the end users
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive data is available to the business
  • Design and develop data-driven reports and data extracts as requested by the business
  • Analyse, design and write specifications and technical reports as required to meet the ever-changing needs of the business including on-going maintenance and enhancement.
  • To liaise with IT to ensure appropriate tools are made available and data is accessible
  • To assist in the development of the database and the management reporting function
  • Monitor reporting system usage and performance.
  • To provide relevant reports for inclusion in the Board materials for MSUKI's clients
  • Ensure all tasks/activities are recorded and kept up to date in ServiceNow


Ad Hoc Duties

  • Your key accountabilities will include such other duties and tasks are as allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post.

Key Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
  • Microsoft Excel (VBA Intermediate level)
  • Advanced SQL Server Reporting Services skills
  • Intermediate SQL Server Integration Services skills


Nice to have skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • A passion for technology and a desire to achieve excellence
