Java Web Developer Remote

Global IT Solution Firm is seeking a strong candidate to fill in the position of Java Web Developer

Responsabilities:

·         You will be responsible for all aspects of development, design and maintenance of web-based software in aJava, Linux and/or Amazon Web Services environment. 

·          You will take broad ownership of technical tasks including the study, analysis, design and programming of new and existing applications and functionality.  This ownership includes writing new programs and modifying existing programs.  Under the general direction of the Vice President of Software Architecture, this technical position will work independently in support of solution construction, implementation and system integration.

·         You will play a critical role in determining project approach, evaluating new technology and coding to meet the standards of thereference. architecture. 

·         You will research, design and implement systems according to userspecifications. 

·         You will serve as the software development expert for project(s) during the requirements and design phases of the project.   

 Qualifications and skills required:

·         A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.

·         A minimum of two years designing, developing and/or maintaining web-based software in a Java and Linux environment.

·          Experience in three or more of the following technologies:

Java web development

Java Server Faces

MongoDB

JS / jQuery / Ajax

Linux / Amazon Web Services (AWS)

·         Able to create, debug and document stable and fault tolerant code.

·         Able to consult and transfer knowledge to audiences with broad (or less) technical knowledge.

·         Capable of acting as a resource for resolution of unique or complex problems.

·         Able to deal with changing priorities.

·         Can establish and maintain effective professional relationships in a distributed and long-distance work environment.

·         Capable of synthesizing multiple inputs in order to articulate design documents.
